  • Venue, Accommodation, and Meals
    The retreat will be held at the beautiful and peaceful Contemplative Centre near Healesville, Victoria. Nestled on 50 acres and surrounded by State Park forests, this serene location is perfect for meditation and yoga. Each participant will have their own room with shared toilet and shower facilities. Delicious and healthy vegetarian meals, along with beverages, fruit, and snacks, will be provided. What to Bring Please note that the Centre is located in the mountains and surrounded by forest, where cold and/or wet weather can occur at any time of the year. While there is heating in the bedrooms, lounge, dining room, and hall, it is advisable to bring plenty of warm clothes. You will be supplied all linen and bedding, but you will need to bring your own towel. A hot water bottle can be useful if you tend to feel the cold. Shades of white, light green, light blue colour cloths are preferred Meditation cushion or stool (if you have one; if not, you will be provided) Yoga Mat Meditation & Yoga blanket(s) or shawl (to keep warm in the hall ) Warm clothes (scarf, woolen hat/beanie, woolen socks, warm jacket, etc.) Toiletries and Towel Walking shoes (to enjoy the surrounding bush) Sunscreen and sun hat Water bottle Insect repellent Torch

    What will you learn: Simple techniques to meditate effectively Letting go your past and future Chanting and accepting five precepts Basic Yoga & body scan mindfulness meditation Vipasana Meditation Loving - Kindness meditation (Metta) Walking meditation Food and single bed is provided Only 20 spots available. This is a yearly program and we have only limited spots available.
  • Things which are not allowed
    Mobile phones, pens or pencils and reading materials are NOT permitted at the retreat, but we encourage you to turn off your phones and leave them in your car or at home. Mobile phones are one of the stressful factor which keeps us from deeper introspection. Disconnecting from these devices helps us reconnect with our bodies and the life around us.
